6/2 - An officer pulled over a Pontiac Grand Prix near Federal Avenue for having tabs that expired in 2018. The driver said he had been unable to renew the tabs because of COVID-19. The officer explained that wasn’t a problem in 2018. The man was cited for failure to renew the tabs and for driving without insurance. 

- A man was riding a motorcycle west on SR-174 heading towards the sunset when he turned right into the La Presa parking lot, hitting a curb, falling to the concrete, and sustaining a knee injury of some kind. The man refused emergency medical service at the suggestion of police. He called a neighbor and said he would go to the emergency room with his neighbor. 

- A man reported finding a cooler and vintage suitcase on a lot he owns on Partello Street. An officer believed the items belong to a man on Bowen Street. He gave them to that man’s girlfriend who was able to describe the items. 

 6/3 - A man was found sleeping between the entry doors of the Continental Heights apartments. Next to him was a half-empty bottle of Jim Beam and a bottle of Fireball whiskey with a Safeway security device still attached. The man shrugged when asked by an officer about the bottle.  Police are requesting a charge of possession of stolen property be filed against the man. 

- A man reported a vehicle swerved towards him while he walked along SR-155 near Electric City. He believes the car may belong to a man he got into an argument with recently. 

- A woman was banned from the MPH High Dam Tavern and MPH Auto because of an argument that took place at the auto shop regarding a Facebook argument with an employee who was not present. 

6/4 - A woman reported a bobcat on her porch on Division Street. Police were unable to locate the bobcat. 

6/5 - Police spoke to a camper at SunBanks Resort said by resort security to have been speeding in his truck and spinning tires. He was told that his camping party needed to follow the rules. 

6/6 - Neither man was charged in an incident on Main Street in which a man knocked on another’s door to complain about noise, words were exchanged, the man who knocked allegedly “came at” the man who lived there, who then allegedly pushed him to the ground and hit him in the face. 

6/7 - A man in a Ford Focus was pulled over near H&H Grocery after driving with his left turn signal on for some time. The man performed a field sobriety test, and admitted to smoking marijuana. The officer described him as the most cooperative person he’d processed for driving under the influence in his five years as an officer. The man was charged for the DUI and his parents took control of the vehicle. 

- One pane of a double-paned window was shattered at a Goodfellow Street residence. 

- A Banks Avenue woman reported that when she returned home, her security camera showed a short female walk up to her house, turn around and leave, picking a flower near the driveway before she left.

- A Grand Coulee woman felt threatened by a Facebook comment. 

- A Coulee Boulevard man reported that two girls stole his teeth. Police spoke to the man who seemed to be in good health. His caretaker son was told about the complaint.

6/2 - A woman gave her bank account information to someone over Snapchat who then attempted to deposit fraudulent checks. The account was closed.

- A man on River Drive heard someone walk on his front porch, then try his back door. He reported a possible burglary. Officers looked at the house and found all doors and windows secure. The man thanked the officers. 

6/5 - Police told people arguing inside a Cedar Street house that their neighbors could hear them arguing. 

6/6 - An officer ran the plates of a Toyota Tacoma and found an unusual situation: The registration had been “cancelled” because the truck was “totalled” by the insurance company following an accident, requiring that the owner get new plates and a new title to the vehicle. The officer researched this situation over time, and learned he could remove the plates and have the vehicle towed. When he saw the vehicle again and pulled it over on Cedar Street, he did just that. The driver told the officer he didn’t need a registration because he is on the reservation, and filmed the officer, telling him he was a racist. The officer explained the situation, the truck was towed anyway, and the man was cited for driving with a suspended license.
