Several Lake Roosevelt High School students will spend part of their spring break competing at the state Future Business Leaders of America competition in Spokane.

The Grand Coulee Dam School District Board of Directors Monday approved the trip to the state for 16 students.

Advisor Susan Duclos, who oversees the group, said students can each register for up to four competitions out of 70. She said the group heading to state has doubled from four students to eight to 16 in the past few years.
