The Lady Raiders left the Lady Hornets buzzless in Oroville Dec. 17, then took down their second league opponent at home Friday night with a second decisive win.

LR led 40-18 at the end of the first half in Oroville, and continued to dominate in the second to win by 30 points, 72-42.

LR hosted the Tonasket Lady Tigers Dec. 20, leading 37-19 at the half and beating them 56-42 in the end.

Jozlyn Hansen led the Lady Raiders with 16 points, followed by Allison Nomee with 11, Audrey and Ellie Hansen with eight each, Almeta Desautel with five, Kyona Edmo with three, Shyanne Marchand with three, and Sawyer Steffens with two.

Nomee and Ellie Hansen each pulled down seven rebounds.

The Lady Raiders had 13 steals total to Tonasket's zero.

In the Central Washington 2B league, the Lady Raiders lead the standings with a 4-0 win-loss record, followed by Brewster and Waterville, both 3-1.

"A good start to the season," Assistant Coach Matthew Pleasants said. "We are young in experience, and it shows at times. This is something that has been expected as we graduated seven seniors last year and returned a handful of players with meaningful varsity minutes. We are happy with the wins and most of our performance during the games, but we are not satisfied."

LR's next game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 28, in Warden at 6 p.m.
