Newest school board member sworn in

Alex Tufts is sworn in as the newest member of the Grand Coulee Dam School District Board of Directors Monday. Tufts, a Lake Roosevelt High School graduate, himself, ran unopposed in the Nov. 5 election and garnered 538 votes. Tufts takes the board seat vacated by Debra Covington (seated at left). He joins Carla Marconi (seated in center) George LaPlace (seated, right) who also ran unopposed this year, Ken Stanger, and Chairman Rich Black on the board.
