Grand Coulee

1/29 - A Burdin Boulevard woman said she watched a man and woman walk past her car. The man allegedly pushed her mirror out of position, the woman put her hands “all over the car,” and the complainant yelled at them to stop.

- A man thought to be wanted on a warrant and to recently have run from police was spotted slouched down in a truck on Lakeview Boulevard. Two officers detained the man, who was cleared on the warrant and taken to the police station to be cited and released on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing an officer.

1/30 - The contractor on the USBR fire station construction project on Industrial Way requested that a subcontractor be removed from the job site. The subcontractor didn’t complete a job involving taking down scaffolding, and the contractor said he had had problems with the subcontractor before. The subcontractor gathered his tools and left.

Coulee Dam

1/30 - An officer clocked a car driving on Elmer City Access Road going 45-50 miles per hour in the 35-mph zone. The driver said he was trying to get home and was sorry. The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license, and a licensed driver came to take control of the car.

2/1 - An 80-year-old man was following an officer too closely going up the Coulee Dam hill. The man asserted “in no uncertain terms” that he was not following too closely, but was cited for that anyway, as well as for driving without insurance, something the driver insisted he didn’t need.
