Marcus Gene Jake, 43, passed away Thursday morning, September 13, 2018, in Grand Coulee, Washington. Born Monday, December 9, 1974, in Toppenish, Washington to Thomas Jake and Anita Frank. Marcus attended Lake Roosevelt High School in Coulee Dam, Washington. On Saturday, April 10, 1999, Marcus married Louise George on the shores of Owhi Lake in Nespelem, Washington.

A proud member of Electrical Union #191, Marcus liked spending his off time in the out-of-doors - hunting, fishing, camping and barbecuing. He also enjoyed basketball and playing pool, but Marcus' greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Predeceased by his mother, Anita Frank; brother, Lester Frank; grandmother, Esther Iukes-Thomas and great-grandmother, Wakista Iukes. Marcus' legacy lives on through his wife of 19 years, Louise Jake; children: Alysha Frank, Harley Frank, Austin Frank, Justine Jake, Peyton Jake and Ayden Jake; grandchildren: Louie Frank, Kiera Frank and Alexander Louis-Frank; brothers: Johnny Craig, Charlie Jo Craig and Edward Frank, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.


Marcus' celebration of life was held Monday morning, September 17, 2018, in the Nespelem Community Center, Nespelem, Washington. Burial followed at Owhi Cemetery in Nespelem.
