Raider boys come up just short


The Raiders came up just shy of victory in Oroville last week, and a home game had to be rescheduled due to snow.

On Jan. 9 in Oroville, the Raiders lost by just one point to the Hornets, 44-43.

“It was a frustrating game, one we knew we should have won,” said Head Coach Jeremy Crollard. “We had so many opportunities that we missed. We just couldn’t stop their big guy, who had 20-25 rebounds. We drew up a play with 10 seconds left and ended up having a wide open layup with three seconds left and missed it. We have to move forward from here. Hopefully our best ball is in front us....
