Grant County Conservation District

PUBLIC NOTICE

A poll-site election for a board seat on the Grant County Conservation District will be held on February 13, 2018 at Grant County Conservation District, 1107 S Juniper Drive, Moses Lake, WA 98837. Polls will open at 8:30 AM and close at 12:30 PM. Registered votes who reside within the Conservation District boundary are eligible to vote. Candidates must be a registered voter residing in the conservation district, and may be required to own land or operate a farm. The candidate filing deadline is January 16, 2018, by 4:30 p.m. Elections procedures are available at the district office. Absentee ballots are available upon request for eligible votes, but must be requested on or before January 23, 2018, by 4:30 p.m. Please contact the District office at (509) 765-9618 or at the District office at 1107 S Juniper Drive, Moses Lake, WA 98837 for absentee ballots or if you have any questions.

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF GRAND COULEE, WASHINGTON FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2018, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK/TREASURER OF THE CITY TO MAKE THE NECESSARY TRANSFERS IN SAID BUDGET WITHOUT FURTHER ORDER OF THE COUNCIL.

ORDINANCES ADOPTED

Resolution R6-17 – A resolution of the Town of Elmer City, Washington, fixing the amounts to be raised by Ad Valorem Taxes for the year 2018.

Ordinance 358 – An Ordinance of the Town of Elmer City, Washington, setting salaries and wages for employees of the Town of Elmer City, and adopting the Budget for calendar year 2018.

NOTICE

[a] man: Michael Marchand, I believe you are the man who acts as tribal chairman for Colville Confederated Tribes and Arrow Lakes Aboriginal Society and moves case upon I [a] woman; Lola Jon Campbell:

I: scribe to Colville Confederated Tribes as well as Sinixt people. 

As you know, it is the custom of I and my family to keep the sacred burial ground found at the Vallican Heritage Site, as well as, Colville Confederated Tribes which did purchase real estate for my grandmother and family for the benefit of Sinixt people to which my daughter was the first Sinixt born in many years. With that said: my daughter is the first Sinixt woman born on the land for which said real estate described as 4120 Slocan River Road in Vallican, BC. 

At no time did any man or woman serve notice to I or my family of their wish to interfere with said custom. 

I believe there is a man or woman who acts under your authority, that does cause harm to I and my family by way of malicious prosecution, and, I require said action to stop; Also: There is a woman with no connection to I, my family, or Sinixt custom, who does interfere with my access to the building for which I and my family are housed; It is the wish of I for you or any man or woman to know the house does hold the property of I and my family as well as legal papers; 

If there is a man or woman that does wish to interfere with said custom of I and my family, I am available to work this matter out on the private side. 

With that said; I require access to said real estate for restoration of property within 72 hours of this notice and require said man or woman to vacate said building immediately: 

Is it the mandate of the Tribal Council; Colville Confederated Tribes; Arrow Lakes Aboriginal Society to cause harm, loss and injury to I, my family or any man:
