With weather nearly ideal, despite a little wildfire smoke, moods were upbeat all around for the Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce's Harvest Festival last weekend.
The event drew in 200 registrants for the Run the Dam foot race, gained a powwow hosted by Coulee Medical Center and showed local wannabe barbecuers what real meat tastes like at a sanctioned barbecue contest.
