4/4 - King’s Court RV Park reported that someone had ripped off a soap dispenser from the wall. The loss was estimated at $100.

4/5 - A woman told police that she left her purse at the bar at the Electric City Bar and Grill while she went outside for a smoke; when she returned, someone had taken her and her daughter’s Social Security cards from her purse.

- While pursuing a drug call, police were flagged down by a man who reported that someone had stolen from his car his muffler system that he had just installed.

- Tribal police asked for assistance at Coulee Medical Center when a subject was resisting a blood draw after officers got a search warrant for it. The subject later complied.

4/6 - An Electric City firm reported the theft of several ice bags from its location at Coulee Boulevard East.

- Safeway complained of a person who was asked to leave the store and refused. Officers found the man nearby and he was told not to enter the store again. He said he didn’t plan to.

- A man was concerned for his brother who lives in Continental Heights because he hadn’t heard from him for a week. Police checked on the man, who told him he was feeling sick and agreed to go to the hospital. He used a police phone to communicate with his brother.

- The manager of North Cascades Bank asked that a man be banned from the bank. She explained that the Electric City man came in to get coffee, and then called one of the tellers a bad name.

- An officer stopped a man wanted on an arrest warrant near the former middle school track. The man said he knew of the warrant, which was why he was trying to run away. He was taken to Grant County jail.

- A woman reported to police that she saw a man stagger out of Electric City Bar and Grill and get in his car. Police searched for him and his car, but he was gone when they got there.

- A woman living at Continental Heights reported her vehicle was stolen.

4/7 - Police stopped a vehicle that had a defective license tab, and while questioning the driver the officer saw a woman passenger known to have a Department of Corrections warrant for her arrest. She was given a ride to Grant County jail.

4/8 - A man with an Omak address was stopped for expired tabs. He was issued a citation for that infraction and for not having proof of insurance or registration in his vehicle.

- A woman was found lying on the road near the skate park at North Dam Park, and the officer noticed blood on her face. The intoxicated woman thought she had a broken arm and complained of leg pain. An ambulance was called.

- There was a report of a man wearing a gun in the lower Visitor Center parking lot. It turned out to be a Homeland Security officer.

4/9 - USBR Plant Protection told police that there were people fishing after hours near North Dam Park. The officer advised the party that it was after hours and the group left.

- USBR Plant Protection advised police that someone was setting up camp in a restricted area. The people left when police told them they couldn’t camp there.

- A woman on Hill Avenue reported that when she was outside her apartment a man with a beard, gray jacket and no shoes grabbed a bike and threw it at her dog. She said the man then grabbed a scooter and threw it at her. She told police that the man was intoxicated. He was gone when police arrived.

4/10 - A woman in a borrowed car was cited because there was no insurance on the vehicle. She also got a warning for a faulty headlamp and not having her license on her person.

- A woman managing property on Third Street in Electric City told police that the sliding door on her vacant house was open. Police checked the house and the door was secured.

- The door on a storage shed on Hill Avenue was breached but the party there said nothing was missing.

4/3 - Police received a call on a noisy dog on Camas Street and tried to contact the owners of the dog, who were not home at the time.

- Police responded to the National Park Service office where officials were testing their alarm. The NPS had installed a new alarm system and were getting acquainted with it.

4/7 - A woman on Cedar Street, who had been asked by the town to remove an abandoned car on her property, apparently had it removed and dumped in a parking lot between Fir and Holly Streets. Many items on the vehicle had been stripped and it was registered to a person in Mount Vernon.

- Police were asked to check on a person loitering at Harvest Foods. Police upon arrival were told the person had left in a dark colored vehicle.

- A man on Central Drive told police that he had picked up a man in front of Harvest Foods and taken him home to give him a meal and to let him clean himself up. He became leery of the man and asked police to come to his house. Upon checking, police stated that the subject was not wanted by law enforcement and left.
