Reunion has to move to bigger venue

Organizers for the Coulee Dam High School All-Class Reunion have had so many people register for the event, they’ve moved it to a bigger venue.
The event for classes from 1935 to 1975 will include Nespelem High School, Mason City High School, and Lake Roosevelt High School.
The August 5-7 event has close to 450 people signed up to attend, according to Bert Smith, and is filling up lodging facilities in the area. That’s more than Coulee Dam Town Hall can hold, so the reunion will now be held at the Lake Roosevelt High School Gym.
Currently, a social mixer and catered taco bar are planned for Friday night, August 5, and a catered dinner and band (oldies but goodies) for Saturday night. Both events start at 6 p.m., with sign-up starting at 5:30. A picnic will be held at Spring Canyon from 12 to 4 p.m. Sunday that is free to attend.
