Electric City Councilmember Brad Parrish caught this monster king salmon in the Columbia River near Richland. His grandson, Isaiah Parrish from Spokane, is holding it for the picture.
The only scales available topped out at 40 pounds. The scale quickly dropped to the peg, so Brad says it must have weighed over 40 pounds. He said his arms were tired from bringing in the huge salmon. - submitted photo
