Fire weather warning issued

Storm and rain activity at 2 pm, Saturday.

Developing thunderstorms have prompted a fire weather warning.

From the National Weather Service in Spokane:

...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH ABUNDANT LIGHTNING LIKELY...

.A MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIR MASS WILL PROMOTE SCATTERED AFTERNOON

AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE CASCADES TODAY. THESE STORMS

WILL PRODUCE ABUNDANT LIGHTNING ALONG THEIR TRACKS WHICH MAY LEAD

TO NEW FIRE STARTS.
