We went to the light show with our grandchildren on Thursday night, June 5, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The colors and story were a great history lesson for us all. I remember going by at least every fall and winter on trips to relatives at Nespelem and hockey trips to camps in Canada. What a great thing the animals, eagles, army trucks, fish, etc. were.

My granddaughter wanted to go to the fire station in Grand Coulee because she eventually wants to be an EMT. The guys were great about talking to her about the ambulance and other things to do with it. We really enjoyed the laser show, motel, food and the communities. I’m only sorry we hadn’t done it sooner.
