The Lincoln County Sheriffs Office is seeking information from anyone who may have information on recent criminal activity that has occurred in the Spring Canyon and Lake View Terrace area’s of northern Lincoln County, Sheriff Wade W. Magers reports.

Magers said that on Jan. 2, his office received a report of a theft/burglary that occurred in the area of Sunny Hills Lane. The absent home owner was notified by a neighbor that his residence had been burglarized. Deputies determined that jewelry and other items were stolen from inside the residence and the house was left in disarray. Additionally, a gray 2006 Chevrolet C-10 pickup, license B82565X, with a canopy, was also stolen from the residence.

A second crime reported on Jan. 6, involved a theft from a residence in Lake View Terrace where items were stolen from outside the residence, including a table saw and other items.

“We have also had reports of thefts from storage sheds in that area in late 2013,” Mages said.

He encourages the public to contact the Lincoln County Sheriffs Office at 725-3501 to report any suspicious activity and to help law enforcement bring these crimes to a successful conclusion.
