Kris Hare's statement:

I am Kristan (Kris) Hare running for reelection as Public Hospital District 6 Commissioner, Position 1. When first appointed, then elected six years ago, the greatest challenge was funding for a new hospital. With the tremendous support of the community this challenge was met. We can all be proud of Coulee Medical Center, a critical access hospital in our community.

With the ever changing health care environment, financial stability continues to be challenging. I have seventeen years of financial background, employed at Coulee Dam Federal Credit Union. I have been serving on the Finance Committee at Coulee Medical Center since my term began.

As Commissioner, my passion lies in quality patient care and safety. Since elected I have served on the Quality Continuous Improvement Committee, dedicated to act in the best interests of both Coulee Medical Center and the communities I serve.

I want to thank the physicians, medical staff and employees of CMC for your dedication to providing such excellent health care to this community.

I have lived in Coulee Dam for 38 years, raising three children with my husband of 40 years, Mike. I ask for your vote of trust and confidence in re-electing me to serve as Commissioner.

Steven "Ray" Clover's statement:

The most challenging obstacle I will face in the position I am seeking is making myself a proper representative of the people. Making sure to take the concerns and criticism of the communities with an open mind and addressing them in a timely manner. Always remembering to serve with the communities' best interests in mind.

I feel I am the best candidate because of having years of experience in customer service and I am driven to better the community to the best of my abilities. I have lived here for thirteen years and I sincerely wish to aid the community in anyway I am able. I feel that with my honesty and integrity I am the best candidate for the position.

I have held many management positions for companies and have always been a "working" manager. I have always strived to maintain my focus on the "whole" of the business I work for. Customers are the top priority because without them no business would be sustained.

If elected as a Hospital Board Member, I Steven (Ray) Clover, will represent the people and continue with the same work ethics I've always maintained with any employer while in the position I seek.
