ropers again in Coeur d’Alene
Garrett Jess did it again.
He and his partner, Clayton Hansen, won the roping title last weekend at the Pro-West Rodeo Association finals in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
The previous week Jess and Hansen won at Prineville, Ore. and were named NPRA “Ropers of the Year.”
In Coeur d’Alene the pair placed in both go rounds. Their average of 8.5 seconds gave them the title there and the $3,600 purse, which was split between the two.
This weekend Jess and Hansen are off to Nampa, Idaho for the Idaho Cowboys Association rodeo, where they will have a couple of go rounds in their search for the prize money.
