Grant County Health District is now giving flu shots at its Moses Lake office on Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m., for $25.

The agency will accept cash or checks and bill Medicare, a press release announced this week.

People of high risk of serious flu complications include young children, pregnant women, people with chronic health conditions like asthma, diabetes or heart and lung disease, and people 65 years old and older.

The health district advises that people caring for babies under 6 months old should get a flu shot to help prevent the child from getting the flu.
