Dorothy (Dot) Snyder went for her last ride on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, to join her husband of 50 years Ed. Dot was born in the Bronx, N.Y., Feb. 8, 1933. She moved to Republic as a young girl to live with her granddad Dayton. She met Ed in 1954 and they married shortly after. In 1958 the sawmill brought them to Grand Coulee where they spent their remaining years. Mr. Stroh, a native of Tower City, North Dakota, grew up in a farm family of eleven children. He received his higher education at the North Dakota School of Science in Wahpeton, N.D. Carolyn Lee Pachosa, 83 passed away at Brewster, Wash., on Monday, August 27, 2012. She was born in Lumber City, Ga., on January 1, 1929, to Howard and Rose Wilbanks. Larry W. Hall, Sr., 69, of Electric City, peacefully passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Larry was born on October 3, 1942, to Ruby and Ernest Hall of Omak, Wash. Larry entered the Navy in 1959 and rose to the rank of Lt. Commander before retiring after 22 years of service. Dale Steven Hilson, 52, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 20, 2012, at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee. He was born August 26, 1959, in the Coulee Dam Hospital to Jack and Dolores (Godfrey) Hilson.
