    Grand Coulee Police 1/11 - A Grand Coulee woman reported she believes she is being stalked by a man after receiving a free coffee from a local coffee stand from a “secret admirer.” The woman investigated the incident herself and found out whom the coffee was from.     The Grant County Health District has received reports of positive rapid tests for influenza A within the last seven days. Health Officer Dr. Alexander Brzezny issued an alert to the Grant County healthcare community and media. “Be aware of increasing influenza activity in Grant County and Washington State,” Brzezny said, “as well as influenza in residents of long-term care facilities (LTCF) with acute illness.     Grand Coulee Police 12/25 - A Moses Lake man asked police to check on his brother because he hadn’t heard from him for quite awhile. The man was fine, but didn’t have any minutes left on his phone so he couldn’t call his brother.     Grand Coulee Police 12/19 - A burglar at Sunbanks Lake Resort made off with several tools from a storage shed. Entry to the shed was gained with a key, suggesting, the report stated, that the party had access to a key. The person only took tools that worked. Batteries from various vehicles were also taken.     Grand Coulee Police 12/5 - Police are looking for an Elmer City woman who allegedly struck her boyfriend of six years, causing a cut in his nose. The man said he didn’t want to get his girlfriend in trouble. When police arrived there was blood on the floor, on the walls and in the bathroom. 12/6 - Police checked on a report of a dog being mistreated on Dill Avenue.     A raffle to benefit a new park in Electric City has raised $500, City Councilmember Lonna Bussert said Monday. Bussert has held two picnic celebrations and now the raffle of two bicycles to raise over $4,000 toward development of the new park behind the fire station in Electric City. Winners of the bicycles were Susan Haydock of Coulee Dam and Cody Bright of Wilbur. Bright donated his bicycle back and Bussert gave it to Trees of Sharing, to be given to some child in the area. His girlfriend came to the door and heard a “hissing” sound and saw the man letting the air out of her tire. She chased him for about a block.
