    OLYMPIA – May 14, 2018 – The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission invites the public to enjoy three free days at state parks in June. On free days, visitors don’t need a Discover Pass for day-use visits by vehicle. The first free day is Saturday, June 2, in recognition of National Trails Day. The next free day is Saturday, June 9, to celebrate National Get Outdoors Day.     There's a new handicapped-accessible parking and viewing area at the Ridge Riders Rodeo Grounds, just in time for this year's Colorama Pro-West Rodeo.     Two local Lions Club members attended the recent Lions International Multi District 19-Spring Conference in Worley, Idaho. Attending were Rob Loch and Birdie Hensley. Armstrong had been acting director since the end of March last spring when longtime director Ken Dexter retired after nearly 40 years of service to the city.
