Electric City officials are looking at a portion of the Baptist Church School playground area for a city park. Councilmember Lonna Bussert has long sought a site for a city park and the site is in the hub of city activity, next to the fire station and close to city hall. Mayor Jerry Sands has been instructed by the council to contact Baptist Church School officials regarding purchase of the site. In the background is the fire station.
