LR Babe Ruth started their summer season last week as they took on Omak May 14 for a single game at Greene Field. Jacob Palmer had the only base bit for LR, as Omak went on to win in six innings, 13-3. Coach Jeremy Miller said many of the middle school-age players showed signs of first game jitters. Austin Rosenbaum led the Raider boys golfers at Omak April 22, with a 111 on 18 holes, while the Raider girls were led by Tanecia Stanczak, the medalist for the day, with the score of 46 on the nine-hole course. Raider track came back from spring break with a two-meet week. The first, at Bridgeport on April 9, was the Brewster Co-Ed Relays. This is a meet where boys and girls are teamed up for relays in all field events.
