The scope of work: Includes the construction of a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB), providing new shops, restrooms and offices to support the career and technical education (CTE) program for NSD. Project consists of the PEMB building, drive en-trance, accessible route to existing school, and bid alternates as listed under section 01 23 00.
Non-mandatory Pre-Bid walk-through to be held at 9:30 A.M. local time on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the project site 229 Schoolhouse Loop Rd, Nespelem, WA 99155.
Contractors may obtain plans and specifications from the Architect, Studio+ Architects or from the plan centers listed below. E-mailed PDF plans and specifications are available through the Architect at no cost.

Preliminary Construction Estimate is: $860,000
The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in Okanogan County. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The “Effective Date” for this project is the bid submittal time and date above. The applicable prevailing wage rates may be found on the Department of Labor & Industries website locat-ed at https://secure.lni.wa.gov/wagelookup/.
NSD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.

Mandatory Audits
Two audits are required by law.
Duplicated ballots – to be completed before certification
Random – hand count of 3 precincts, one office/race no later than 48 hours after Election Day.
The audit schedule is as follows. Audits will take place in the Okanogan County Auditor’s office. Observers are welcome.

Both parties must agree on the precincts and office/race or the Auditor’s office will make the final determination. The office/race selected must appear in all three precincts. Precincts selected must have enough ballots to preserve voter secrecy.
