Myrna, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at her home, surrounded by family.

Myrna was born to George and Lorraine McPhee in Malta, Montana.  She married Sterling D Nickerson April 24, 1958, and they raised three children in Grand Coulee, Washington. Two sons, Sterling L Nickerson and Kelley M Nickerson; and daughter Kimberly L. Mechling.

Myrna left 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by husband, Sterling (Nick) Nickerson, 2 brothers and both parents.

Myrna was known for her ready smile and  gentle spirit. Her baked goods were sought after, especially homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. All who knew her would agree she was the most selfless person they had ever met. She loved babies, gardening, and devoted herself to her husband, children and family. 

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date to be determined.
