Police

12/8 - Officers responded to a report of a grey pickup truck suspected of being driven under the influence that was reported by a tribal ambulance. Police went to the Grand Coulee Avenue gas station where the vehicle was reported to be. There were three grey pickup trucks there. Police spoke to one driver who said the vehicle had mechanical problems and determined that the driver wasn’t under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Another vehicle was followed by police and no issues were seen. A gas station attendant later said that the other vehicle, not followed by police, seemed to have been driven by people high on marijuana, and also had an issue with one of its tires.

- A man is facing trespassing charges after he was at a property he is banned from to perform some kind of maintenance, and then was yelled at by the resident. The landlord of the property told police the situation was his fault because he had the man, who performs maintenance for him, go to the residence.

12/10 - Police gave a man a ride from the Chevron gas station on Grand Coulee Avenue to the casino in Coulee Dam where he intended to catch a bus. Police told him there was a rest area nearby where he could potentially stay warm until the bus arrived.

12/11 - Someone entered a shop on Grand Avenue by squeezing through barn-style doors, but left when the owner called police. Nothing appeared disturbed. The suspect was said to have gone toward Kelso Avenue.

12/12 - Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on SR-174 near milepost 23 where a man explained he’d lost a lighter while riding a motorbike and his daughter thought she saw it along the road. There were no signs of an altercation.
