NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Town of Nespelem in Town Hall, 330 9th, Nespelem, WA 99155, May 19, 2021, at 5:30 pm.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in the Town of Nespelem.

Up to $30,000 may be available for planning to the Town of Nespelem on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development, planning and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons.

An outline of the proposed Small Water System Management Program and/or planning project will be available for review by email request townofnespelem@centurylink.net beginning April 23, 2021. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the Town of Nespelem, until Friday, May 28, 2021.

The Town Hall is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice. Contact Kelly Ross at 509-634-4691 at Town Hall.

CDBG PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town of Elmer City via Zoom on May 13, 2021 at 6:30 PM to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on the proposed Waste Water Treatment Facility Engineering Amendment, particularly from lower income persons. Up to $900,000 may be available to the Town of Elmer City on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development, planning and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low-and moderate-income persons. An outline of the proposed Force Main Assessment and Feasibility Study will be available at Elmer City Town Hall, 505 Seaton Avenue, Elmer City on April 28, 2021. Printed information about Federal CDBG grants, National objectives, and Federal Regulations 24 CFR 570.486(a) will also be available. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the Town of Elmer City by May 25th, 2021. The council chambers are handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.

BIDS ARE INVITED FOR DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF A BUILDING LOCATED AT 136 SPOKANE WAY, GRAND COULEE, WA.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City is seeking a qualified and competent vendor to completely demolish and remove a building located at 136 Spokane Way, Grand Coulee, WA. A complete copy of the scope of work is available upon request, please contact City Hall (509)633-1150

GCD School District

CALL FOR BIDS

The Grand Coulee Dam School District hereby calls for bids to furnish the following for the 2021-22 school year?

Milk for the school breakfast/lunch program during the 2021-22 school year. Milk items on which bidders are to submit quotations per case are: 1% milk – 22 cases per week, chocolate mile - 20 cases per week. Multiple deliveries per week are expected for all Milk products.

Bidding will close at 3:00 pm on May 14, 2021
