TO NEGOTIATE LEASE

Department of Natural Resources will begin negotiation of expiring leases with existing lessees on the following parcels. All leases are subject to third party bids by interested parties. Lease terms and bidding information is available by calling the Southeast Region at 1-800-527-3305 or by visiting the Region Office at 713 Bowers Road, Ellensburg, Washington 98926. Written request to lease must be received by April 26, 2021, at the Department of Natural Resources, 713 Bowers Road, Ellensburg, Washington 98926.

Each request to lease must contain a certified check or money order payable to the Department of Natural Resources for the amount of any bonus bid, plus a $100 deposit. The envelope must be marked “Sealed Bid” and give the lease number, expiration date of lease applied for, and give the applicant’s name. The applicant must be prepared to purchase any improvements that belong to the current lessee. For details and qualifications to submit a request, contact the Ellensburg office or call 509-925-8510.

Notice of Request for Proposal for

Communication/Access Control Expansion

Grand Coulee Dam School District #301J

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Grand Coulee Dam School District (GCDSD) hereby withdraws the previous Request for Proposal published on March 17, 2021. Request for Proposal is replaced by the following Request for Proposal.

The GCDSD is seeking to expand and/or integrate a unified communication/access control system.

In compliance with RCW 39.04.270, the District is soliciting proposals from qualified bidders for the purpose of entering into competitive negotiations with the vendor which is most advantageous to the district.

GCDSD intends to accomplish the following scope of work:

Traditional or digital clocks in all primary classrooms and offices at CTE/Athletic Facilities, ALE Building, and Bus Garage.

Intercom speakers’ capable of broadcasting class bells and announcements in all primary classrooms, offices, and hallways at CTE/Athletic Facilities, ALE Building and Bus Garage.

Expansion of current Access Control to integrate primary points-of-entry at CTE/Athletic Facility.

Lockdown activation button in CTE office with the ability to notify district/911 emergency dispatch.

Vendors will be given building exterior and interior maps at the time of walk through.

Proposals shall include the following information:

Bidder’s service rates and fees to include but limited to:

Remote assistance hourly rates

Base service call charge

Hourly or fixed travel and mileage charges to service site

System Design Fees

Location of closest service center from which GCDSD would be serviced

Relevant experience with K-12 schools, specifically small rural districts

A minimum of three K-12 references from similar projects

Familiarity with and ability to provide parts for and service the following systems:

Rauland Clock/Intercom voice communications

S2 Netbox Access Contros Systems

During the RFP process, vendors will conduct an on-site walk through in order to get a sense of the District’s needs.

In compliance with RCW 39.04.270, the District is soliciting proposals from qualified bidders for the purpose of entering into competitive negotiations with the vendor which is most advantageous to the district.

GCDSD intends to accomplish the following scope of work:

Complete coverage of interior common areas (hallways, stairwells, corridors, gymnasium, commons areas, etc) at CTE/Athletic facilities and ALE Building

Exterior coverage of parking lot/entry at Bus Garage.

Coverage of student parking lot between Main Building and CTE/Athletic Facility.

Vendors will be given building exterior and interior maps at the time of walk through.

Proposals shall include the following information:
