Linda K Hogan, 72, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday morning, February 13, 2021, surrounded by her husband and loving family in her Nespelem, Washington home.

Linda was born Sunday, September 26, 1948, to William Wayne amd Elsie Leary-Picard in Nespelem, Washington. A member of the Confederated Tribes of The Colville, eldest daughter, Linda, left high school during her 11th year to help care for her younger siblings, however in later years Linda did continue her studies and earned her GED.

On Saturday, March 19, 2005, Linda married George Hogan at the Hitching Post Wedding Chapel in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Linda enjoyed traveling, especially her family's annual trips to Lincoln City on the Oregon Coast. An avid beader who made many beautiful items for friends and family, Linda also enjoyed watching humming birds drink the sweet nectar from her feeders as well as occasional shopping trips to Walmart. Her greatest joy though was always time spent with her children, particularly when the whole family was gathered together in one place. Her family fondly remembers that during these times Linda would sometimes doze off in the middle of a sentence with a loved one, nap for 20 minutes or so, only to immediately resume her thought upon awakening...leaving the family member scrambling to remember where they were in the conversation.

Preceded in death by both of her parents; Linda's legacy lives on through her loving husband of 16 years: George Hogan; children: Vanance Picard (Toni), Donovon Picard, Seneatt Hodge (Terrance Gallaher) and Christian Cook (Jeremy); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and siblings: Carla Gunter (Gale) and Andre' Picard.

Linda's family will hold a private celebration of her life at a future date.

Strate Funeral Home of Grand Coulee, Washington is assisting her family.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at http://www.stratefuneral.com for Linda's family.
