2/2 - After an E Street woman reported fraudulent charges on her credit card, the credit card company contacted Adult Protective Services on her behalf. Police spoke to the woman’s son and girlfriend who explained the charges, showing that they have permission to use the card to help pay the woman’s bills and other expenses. The matter was cleared up.

- Police looked into a report of animal neglect regarding a horse on E Street whose ribs are showing. The owner of the horse showed the officer that she has food for the horse, kept in her car. She said if she leaves the food outside, that deer would eat it. She also said she would be getting some hay bails for the horse. 

- An officer found a car that the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was trying to locate and interview in relation to a domestic assault case. The car was at the casino in Coulee Dam. The driver was located and taken to the Grand Coulee Police Department where a LCSO deputy interviewed him. The man was released and the Grand Coulee officer gave the man a ride back to the casino.

2/3 - A man told an officer that while doing his laundry at King’s Court Laundromat, the machine displayed an error message, prompting the man to move his clothes to another machine. The man was then approached by who he believes was the manager of the laundromat who blamed him for causing the error message, and then wrote his license plate down in a notebook. The man said he wanted to tell police about the incident in case he was turned in for the incident. The officer explained that no one had reported the incident and that the crime of malicious mischief requires intent, and the man had only been doing his laundry.

- A man reported being approached by a woman at Safeway and telling her to leave him alone. A male then began recording him and his vehicle with a phone, making him uncomfortable and prompting him to talk to police about it. The woman told police that she was asking where the vet clinic is, and her son was offended by the way he responded, prompting him to record him. All agreed the incident was a misunderstanding and police were no longer needed. 

2/4 - Police performed a welfare check on a woman said to be passed out behind the wheel of a running car on Alcan Road. Police found a woman and a male passenger in the car. The woman said she was just resting. A nearby property owner said he finds needles and illegal dumping on his property. The woman was wanted on two arrest warrants, and police found her in a shed converted into a living space on Dill Avenue. She was allowed to smoke a cigarette and to say goodbye to her passenger, and then was taken to Grant County Jail.

- A Grand Avenue resident expressed concern about a man who was going door to door without a mask. The man only told the resident his name and continued walking. Police were unable to locate him. 

2/5 - A woman was reported and found by police lying down on her gravel driveway off Division Street. She smelled of alcohol. An ambulance came and took her to the hospital. 

2/7 - Colville Tribal Police had trouble with a combative patient at Coulee Medical Center. A Grand Coulee officer walked into the emergency room and the patient had a drink in his hand. He was told to turn around and place his hands behind his back. He was cuffed and placed in a bed and was secured to the bed. 

- Safeway reported it had denied alcohol to a customer who was intoxicated and began pushing carts at customers. The customer turned out to be an off-duty Safeway employee. He was found outside the store, cuffed by other officers. The man said he was upset that the store wasn’t enforcing the mask policy for customers, even though he has to wear a mask while working. After being denied alcohol, he said he became more upset and confronted different employees. The store staff didn’t want the man banned from the store yet, and said the manager would handle the situation the next day.

2/1 - Police responded to a report of dogs chasing people on Central Drive. While there, a white dog barked at an officer in his car, and a brown dog ran by. The two dogs ran off to a yard. The owner called the dogs’ names. The officer told her this isn’t the first time the dogs had chased people and that people aren’t happy about it. He said Colville Tribal Animal Control would contact her on the matter. 

- A man was pulled over in the Harvest Foods parking lot for having an obstructed license plate. The man had no documents. He was cited for expired tabs, and for not having a registration, ID, or insurance. 

2/3  - An intoxicated man near Sixth Street and Mead Way said he was having trouble breathing after being kicked in the ribs. He wouldn’t say who kicked him. An ambulance took him to the hospital.
