The basketball postseason is in full swing with the Lady Raiders defeating Tonasket, losing to Waterville, beating Liberty Bell, and now progressing onto the district crossover game this Saturday in Quincy.

LR defeated the Tonasket Lady Tigers 53-27 Thursday in Coulee Dam.

Audrey Hansen rises above defenders for a shot in the win over Tonasket.

In the first quarter, a pair of back-to-back, three-point shots from Allison Nomee put LR up 15-0.

Tonasket got on the board in the last minute of the quarter that finished 17-4 LR.

LR led 26-15 at the end of the half, and in the second half scored 27 more points themselves and held Tonasket to only 12 for the 53-27 final.

LR lost to the Central Washington 2B top seed, the Waterville-Mansfield Lady Shockers, in Waterville, 57-36 on Saturday.

The Lady Raiders met Liberty Bell last night on neutral ground in Chelan, where they beat the Lady Mountain Lions handily, 62-48.

Lake Roosevelt, with an 12-5 win-loss record in league (14-10 overall) will take on White Swan (8-4, 20-5) Saturday at 1:45 p.m. in Quincy, in a District 5/6 crossover game.
