Notice of Public Hearing

on the 2019-20 Budget

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Budget of the Grand Coulee Dam School District #301 will be presented to the Board of Directors for its consideration. A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on July 22, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the Lake Roosevelt Junior/Senior High School located at 505 Crest Drive, Coulee Dam, WA 99116.

The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or in favor of or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same. A copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Superintendent, 110 Stevens Avenue, Coulee Dam, WA 99116 where it may be inspected by any interested person during regular office hours.

Nespelem School Disgtrict No. 14

Notice of 2019-20 Budget Hearing

Notice is hereby given that Nespelem School District No. 14 will hold their 2019-2020 Public Budget Hearing as part of their regular monthly Board Meeting. The Directors will meet on Monday, July 22, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. in the district office conference room for the purpose of adopting this budget for next fiscal year. Any person may appear at this time and be heard for or against any part of the budget. By order of the Board of Directors.

CITY OF COULEE DAM, WASHINGTON

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

2019 CHIP SEAL – DOUGLAS & LINCOLN ST.

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Coulee Dam, Washington, at City Hall located at 300 Lincoln Ave., Coulee Dam, WA 99116 until 1:00 p.m. on July 30, 2019 and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud.

The improvements for which bids will be received are generally described below:

Bituminous surface treatment of approximately 7,000 SY of roadway

Approximately 5,055 LF of crack sealing

Approximately 350 SY of pavement repair excavation and 145 tons of crushed surfacing base course.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Coulee Dam.

Contract documents may be obtained from Varela and Associates, Inc., located at 601 W. Mallon, Suite A, Spokane, Washington 99201 upon payment of $30.00. Contract documents are on file for inspection at the Coulee Dam City Hall. The project is being funded by the Transportation Improvement Board funds 2-E-878(004)-1.

The City of Coulee Dam is in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
