Comprehensive Plan And

Capital Facilities Plan

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public workshop will be held by Electric City from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on May 7, 2019 at City Hall located at 10 Western Avenue, Electric City, Washington, to receive public input regarding revisions to the Comprehensive Plan and Capital Facilities Plan. The draft amendments can be found on our website at http://www.electriccity.us under the Government Tab then Planning and Zoning.

The public is encouraged to attend, comment and be involved with reviewing the proposed amendments. You can also submit comments regarding the Comprehensive Plan in writing to City of Electric City, PO Box 130, Electric City, WA 99123. Please call 509-633-1510 or go to our website http://www.electriccity.us for more information. City Hall is accessible to persons with disabilities.

The Colville Indian Housing Authority is Requesting Proposals from Indian owned and non-Indian owned firms to furnish labor and materials for Two (2) projects.

• Charley 722 Jackson St, Omak, WA 98841: Bathroom renovation

• Covington 321 9th St, Nespelem, WA 99155: Construct ADA Ramp, and pour new sidewalk.

2018-19 Budget Hearing

Notice is hereby given that Grand Coulee School District No. 301J is preparing to change the 2018-19 Capital Project Fund budget. The Directors will meet on May 2nd, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., in the Lake Roosevelt High School library for the purpose of fixing and adopting these changes for the current fiscal year. GRAND COULEE DAM SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 301J

GRANT, DOUGLAS, LINCOLN AND

OKANOGAN COUNTIES, WASHINGTON

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A LIMITED GENERAL

OBLIGATION BOND AND CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Grand Coulee Dam School District No. 301J, Grant, Douglas, Lincoln and Okanogan Counties, Washington (the “District”) intends to issue a non-voted limited general obligation bond (the “Bond”) pursuant to RCW 28A.530.080 and will hold a public hearing on May 2, 2019, starting at 6:00PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Lake Roosevelt High School Library, 505 Crest, Coulee Dam, WA 99116, for the purpose of hearing comments from the public on the proposed issuance of the Bond. The proposed Bond will be issued as a limited general obligation bond; will be in the principal amount of not to exceed $1,000,000; will be dated its date of delivery to the purchaser thereof; will be issued only in fully registered form; will bear interest at the rate(s) to be determined based on market conditions; will mature within four (4) years of the date of issue; may be subject to prepayment prior to maturity of the Bond; will be issued and sold in such manner, at such time as will be required for the purpose for which the Bond is to be issued; and will include other related terms and conditions, all as determined necessary and advisable by the Board. The exact date, form, terms, price, interest rate(s), maturity date, purchaser and repayment schedule of the Bond will be hereafter fixed by resolution of the Board. The proceeds of the Bond will be used to pay costs to replace doors, replace/update the electrical and replace/update the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at the Career and Technical Education building at Lake Roosevelt School and carry out other purposes authorized by RCW 28A.530.080. The principal of and interest on the Bond will be paid from money legally available from the District’s Capital Projects Fund and General Fund, and from other legally available money of the District. Tax proceeds received from the District’s Capital Levy for Safety, Technology and Facilities Improvements approved by the voters on August 7, 2018, will be used to pay principal of the Bonds. Any person wishing to be heard on the proposed issuance of the Bond should appear at the public hearing and present their views. Alternatively, or in addition, such interested persons may submit their views on the proposed issuance of the Bond in writing and deliver them to: B. Paul Turner, Superintendent and Secretary to the Board of Directors, 110 Stevens Ave., Coulee Dam, WA 99116, on or before the date of the public hearing.
