3/24 - A woman showed an officer a video of a neighbor shooting a bb gun at something, reportedly birds. The officer told the neighbor not to shoot within the city limits, and the neighbor said he would comply.

- A woman reported that her daughter had left for a trip to Canada with a friend two days prior and hadn’t returned. Soon after reporting her daughter missing, the daughter’s grandmother called and said she was on her way home.

- The Grant County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance with a domestic issue on Cardinal Road, where a man was reportedly slashing a woman’s tires. The man was gone upon police arrival, and the woman said there was no damage, that he had only let the air out of the tires.

3/25 - A woman reported that two days earlier she had left an address book containing $140 at the High Dam Tavern, and that when she returned it was gone. She wanted to see the security tape. A bartender told police the security footage didn’t show the woman as having an address book with her.

- A man reported a water heater stolen from an unoccupied Grand Avenue house that he works on. There have been previous thefts at the house.

3/26 - A woman wanted on warrants was reportedly on Dill Avenue, but the jail was on restrictions for females, so no one was arrested.

- A man was reported to be walking in the northbound lane of traffic, causing traffic delays on SR-155 near Pole Park. The man denied walking in traffic, and the officer told him to be sure and use the sidewalk.

- A Hill Avenue woman reported that her mother had taken too many pills and was overdosing. The woman was fine, as determined by medical staff. She was alert and coherent.

3/27 - Neighbors in the Weil Place area each accused the other’s children of threatening their children with knives and yelling foul names. Neither provided proof of crimes, and the officer told them it was best to keep everyone separated to keep the peace. The officer also spoke to someone from Child Protective Services about the situation.

3/28 - A man opened his Ford truck door into another Ford’s door at the Bureau of Reclamation’s parking lot on SR-155. An officer took photos of the minor damage, and the two exchanged information.

- An officer pulled a driver over on SR-155 near Pepper Jack’s for having a broken tail lamp. She was cited for that as well as for driving without insurance or a license. A man in the backseat was was arrested on a warrant and taken to jail.

3/29 - A woman on Goodfellow reported someone may be trying to tap into her power. She showed an officer an extension cord that stretched from near her home, across a yard, over a fence, to near a streetlight. Neither end of the cord was plugged into anything.

- A woman wanted on warrants was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, then released after lab tests were performed, at which point she was taken to jail.

- An officer removed an E Street woman’s oxygen bottles from her house and placed them on her porch at her request. She said they smelled like gas.

- A Goodfellow woman reported her chihuahua had run away and she wanted to report it in case it turned up. She also posted the missing dog online.

- A Hill Avenue man reported that someone kicked in his door but ran off after he came downstairs and yelled.

3/30 - A man was given a speeding ticket for going 53 mph in the 35-mph zone along SR-174 near G Street.

- At the overlook just below Grand Coulee Dam, an officer pulled over a driver known to be wanted on a warrant, arrested him, and took him to Okanogan County Jail.

3/31 - A driver was pulled over near E Street and Division Street for going 53 mph in the 35 zone along SR-174. He was given a speeding ticket, and was also cited for driving with a suspended license, and for driving without an ignition interlock.

- A man was pulled over near the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam for towing a trailer without brake or running lights. The man, wanted on a warrant and having a suspended license, was cited for driving with a suspended license and taken to Grant County Jail.

3/27 - A driver, pulled over near the dam for driving a truck without a front license plate, was driving with a suspended license. Her truck was parked and locked until she could find a licensed driver.

3/28 - An officer responded to a report of two young, intoxicated women walking down River Drive. The officer didn’t see anyone there, but saw one woman near the former Highway Tire just outside of town on SR-155. Colville Tribal Police arrived soon thereafter and handled the situation.

- A man was given a speeding ticket after being pulled over near the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam for going 46 mph in the 30-mph zone along SR-155.
