POSITION #4 VACANCY

Electric City is requesting letters of interest to fill position #4 on the Grant County Mosquito District No. 2 Board. The Mosquito District meets monthly on the second Thursday of every month and is a volunteer position. Please mail or hand deliver a letter of interest addressed to Mayor John T. Nordine II, PO Box 130, Electric City, WA 99123. This position is open until filled. If you have any questions please contact the city clerk at 633-1510.

Nespelem School District No. 14

2018-2019 BUDGET HEARING

Notice is hereby given that Nespelem School District No. 14 is preparing to change the 2018-19 Capital Projects Fund budget. The Directors will meet on April 9, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. in the district office conference room for the purpose of fixing and adopting these changes for the current fiscal year. Any person may appear at this time and be heard for or against any part of the budget. By order of the Board of Directors.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Colville Tribes Land Use Review Board will be holding a public hearing to make a ruling on the following shoreline development conditional use permits:

1. Gary Phillips has submitted a land use and development permit for a variance to develop a 30’x30’ garage with a second story loft. There will be a bathroom/shower on the first floor (heated) and living quarters with a game room on the second story loft. This is within the Hell Gate Game Management Designation. At this time Mr. Phillips is applying for the zoning only (Variance) and has already applied through Ferry County for the onsite system and building permit. The property is commonly known as 17 Dick Creek Road, Keller WA and is fee land in Ferry County with a County parcel #32916320001000 within Township 29 North, Range 33 East, Section 16 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.

2. New Cingular Wireless (dba: ATT Mobility) has submitted a land use and development permit application for a special use variance to construct a new unoccupied telecommunications facility on Keller Butte. The development will include a free standing 120’ lattice tower adjacent to the existing lookout tower. The project site is within 101-TR 033; Township 30 North, Range 32 East, Section 33 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.

A public hearing for the above mentioned Conditional Use Permits will be conducted on Wednesday April 10, 2019, at the Colville Tribes Public Works Department located at 12 Lakes Street (Colville Indian Agency) starting at 9:30 a.m. Written comments will be accepted until Monday April 8, 2019 at 4 p.m. or comments can be made verbally at the public hearing. All comments may be sent to Pete Palmer, Land Use/Shoreline Administrator, Public Works Department, P.O. Box 150, Nespelem, WA 99155 or they can be emailed to her attention at pete.palmer@colvilletribes.com. Contact the Tribal Public Works Department at the aforementioned address or phone number to request a copy of the permit documents.
