A glass-enclosed elevator promises to be the most popular public attraction at Grand Coulee Dam and is expected to be in regular use for the 1978 Memorial Day to Labor Day visitor season.

Sears to Temporary Quarters: One of Grand Coulee’s pioneer businesses, and the oldest of its kind in the United States, Sears Catalog Sales office, was destroyed by fire in the early morning hours Tuesday.
