Mike was born in Sunnyside, Washington, February 14, 1953, to Ray and Rose Dalton. He died unexpectedly Thursday, January 4, 2018. He attended school in Prosser, Washington, thru eighth grade, then moved with parents to Snohomish, Washington. He graduated from Snohomish High School 1971. From that time he went on to earn his Journeyman Machinst at Black Clawson in Everett, Washington, and became an EMT/Firefighter for Lake Stevens District 8 Volunteer Fire Department through 1985. He enjoyed the outdoors in that he was able to climb Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Baker while in high school and other local peaks in that area. He did a lot of fishing and camping in Eastern Washington, and many other hobbies. He loved to build and fly RC airplanes. In 1986 he moved with his family to Grand Coulee, Washington, to work for the Grand Coulee Dam. He retired December 31, 2015.

He is preceded in death by both parents. He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Ruth; daughter, Hayley along with her husband Chris Wippel; granddaughters: Maddie Jones and Delyla Wippel; also his two brothers, Bob Dalton and Dave Dalton. We will sorely miss him and his unique personality.
