Chamber to Meet

The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will meet this Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Melody Restaurant in Coulee Dam. Meeting begins at noon. Jonathan Hughes, Specialist in the U.S. Army, will be the guest speaker.

Coulee Creators Meet

Coulee Creators meet every Tuesday 1-4 p.m. Sew-ins have returned to 1-4 p.m. Tuesdays. Class schedule is available for the new season. Skill Builder started Sept. 21. A couple blocks-of-the-month programs are being offered (six months each in length) and short-term one or multi-session project classes as well. American Legion to Meet

The American Legion Post 157 next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, at the Vets Center in Electric City.

Food Bank is Open Fridays

The food bank at the Church of the Nazarene has normal operating hours every Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. It is located at the Church of Nazarene, Hwy 174, Grand Coulee. Grocery bags are no longer needed and clients are encouraged to provide their own containers to carry groceries home in. Call Pastor Shawn for information 633-2566.
