Kathleen Larson passed away peacefully to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, Washington, where she had spent the final year of her life receiving excellent care and love from the wonderful staff there.

Kathleen was born in Mason City, Washington, to Gladys and Dwight McNeilly on September 9, 1940. She married her handsome groom, Gordon Larson, on September 27, 1958. Soon after, they moved to the Edmonds, Washington area. She spent most of her working years in retail, and she and Gordon moved back to Coulee Dam, Washington, after their retirement. She filled her retirement years with family, friends and babysitting local children. She had a kind and loving heart, and being a wife, mother and grandmother was her pride and joy in life. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and the children she babysat.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys McNeilly; father, Dwight McNeilly; brothers: Robert (Mary) McNeilly and Michael McNeilly; niece, Jean Alfano; along with many aunts and uncles.


She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gordon Larson of Coulee Dam; son, Randy Larson of Coulee Dam; and daughters: Sherri Larson (Robert) of Arlington, Washington, and Lisa Faul (Keith) of Electric City, Washington; sister, Sally Cornelius of Mountlake Terrace, Washington; grandsons: Connor Murray, Blake Larson, Brandon Larson, Ryan Larson and Nicholas Larson.

At her request, no funeral service will be held, and a graveside service will be scheduled at a later date.
