Kathryn Louise Clift, of Otis Orchards, Washington, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, in Spokane, Washington. Kathryn was born on December 1, 1925, in Tacoma, Washington, the youngest of Michael and Mary Gurbisa's six children. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Otis Orchards and involved in a number of charitable endeavors, many of which utilized her exceptional skill as a seamstress.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Somers; their son, Gregory Somers; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Finnerty Somers. She is survived by her husband, Jim Clift; three sons: Steven (Kimberly), Scott (Missy), and David Somers; her former daughter-in-law Jill Stout; nine grandchildren; two great-grandsons; her sister, Ann Karnopp; five stepchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4521 N. Arden Rd., Otis Orchards.

Catholic Funeral and Cemetery Services of Spokane are in charge of arrangements.
