Michael Leroy McNeilly left this world to join his heavenly father on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Washington. 

Mick, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Mason City, Washington, on September 6, 1939. He grew up in Grand Coulee; graduated Grand Coulee High School in 1957. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army overseas. Later he moved to Seattle where he worked hard and eventually retired after many years from the elevator and escalator industry. Mick moved back to Grand Coulee spending the remainder of his retirement years taking care of others. He loved spending time with his beloved family, friends and every neighborhood dog he could find. He was known for his kindness, sense of humor and generosity, always helping those in need.

He will be missed by many.

Preceded in death by his mother, Gladys McNeilly, father, Dwight McNeilly, brother, Robert (Mary) McNeilly, niece, Jean Alfano, along with many aunts and uncles. 

He is survived by daughters: Carol McNeilly, of Renton, Washington, Deborah (Johnny) Chavez, Snohomish Washington, Tari (Eric) Symmonds, Bonaire, Georgia; sisters: Sally Cornelius of Mt Lake Terrace, Washington, Kathleen (Gordon) Larson, Grand Coulee, Washington; grandsons: Sean Chavez, Matthew Chavez, Jamieson Jensen, Jeffrey T. Jensen, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Services to be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Faith Community Church, Electric City. Washington. Please sign his online register book @ http://stratefuneralhome.com
