Long-time Grand Coulee resident artist Keith Powell stands with some of his work at his new gallery in Spokane during its opening event last Friday night at 123 East Second Avenue. Powell said he'll open the gallery for events and by appointment, but will still be creating his art in Grand Coulee. Powell said he has opened temporary galleries in Spokane in the past and done "very well." The new Spokane venue, which grew from that concept, was filled with people Friday night.
