Hats off to all of the firefighters for their work in getting all of the fires out, especially the fire that was located behind the Columbia River Inn in Coulee Dam. 

We had some anxious moments as we watched the flames getting closer to the motel. I am especially proud of our motel staff, who assisted in the orderly evacuation of our guests at the motel and kept all of our guests informed as we received fire updates throughout the afternoon and evening on Monday.
