Colville Tribes Land Use Review Board PUBLIC NOTICE

The Colville Tribes Land Use Review Board will be holding a public hearing to make a ruling on the following land use and development permits:

Colville Tribal Gaming has submitted a land use and development application for a conditional use permit to remodel the second floor of the existing Coulee Dam Casino that will include constructing a new kitchen, bar and restaurant; a new deck to the South end of the existing facility; add gaming to the second floor and installing a new entrance from the second floor to the new parking area on the east side of the facility. The Coulee Dam Casino is located at 515 Birch Street in Coulee Dam; Township 29 North, Range 30 East, Section 36 on Tribal Tract 101-T5606 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.

A public hearing for the above mentioned land use and development Permit Applications will be conducted on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at the Lucy Covington Government Facility (Colville Indian Agency) starting at 9:30 a.m. Written comments will be accepted until April 26, 2016 at 4 p.m. or comments can be made verbally at the public hearing. All comments may be sent to Pete Palmer, Land Use/Shoreline Administrator, P.O. Box 150, Nespelem, WA 99155 or they can be faxed to her attention at 509-634-2581. You can also contact the Tribal Planning Department at the afore-mentioned address or phone number to request a copy of the permit documents.

Small Works/

Vendor Roster

Grant County Mosquito Control District #2 (GCMCD) is accepting applications from interested contractors and vendors wishing to be placed on the Small Works Roster and Vendor List as provided under RCW 35.04.155. Whenever the Mosquito District seeks to construct any public work or improvement with an estimated cost of $200,000 or less the Small Works Roster may be utilized. Whenever the Mosquito District seeks to purchase materials, supplies, or equipment not connected to a public works project with an estimated cost of $15,000 or less, the Vendor List may be utilized. All interested contractors and vendors are invited to submit a letter of interest which contains the following information:

Business name, address, telephone number, email and contact person

Contractor’s Washington Business License registration number

Insurance and bonding companies

List of projects and project owners for last year (contractors only)

Nature of business of service, or type of supplies or equipment

Submit required information to Grant County Mosquito Control District No. 2, P.O. Box 8, Electric City, WA 99123.

Public Notice

Grant County Mosquito Control District #2 (GCMCD) is announcing the beginning of the larvicide/adulticide application season.  The district will be utilizing multiple insecticides for 2016.  These include Altosid, Natular G30, Duet, Wisdom and Biomist.  The active ingredients of these insecticides are Methoprene, Spinosad, Sumithrin, Piperonyl Butoxide, Prallethrin, Bifenthrin and Permethrin.  Applications will begin in late April and continue through August 2016, all of which are weather dependent. More information about the insectides planned for use can be found at http://www.clarke.com and http://www.adapco.com. Treatment locations will be within the mosquito control district boundary which are roughly within the canyon walls from the south end of Steamboat Rock to the north end of the Grant County line. The Washington State Department of Ecology Aquatic Pesticides Permit Manager is Heather Bartlett and she can be reached at (360) 407-6405.  The NPDES Permittee is Levi Morris of GCMCD and he can be reached at (509) 631-0130 or PO Box 8, Electric City, WA 99123.
