School assignment changes OK'd

The Grand Coulee Dam School District board Monday night approved a lengthy list of hires and changes in personnel.

Not the least of these was the resignation of Superintendent Dennis Carlson (see separate story).

New assignments include Steve Files as eighth-grade boys’ basketball coach; Rebecca Loch, ALE family liaison/tutor; Brenda Mouzon, ALE certificated teacher 0.6 FTE; Matthew Pleasants, LRHS assistant girls’ basketball coach; Natalie Nachtigal-Dennis, 11th grade co-advisor; Shayla Picard, ninth-grade advisor; Tammy Norris, 10th grade advisor; Mario Adams, SVL Spanish monitor three-hour paraprofessional; Bethany Adams, 4-hour health paraprofessional one-on-one; Ginger Docksteader, SPED paraprofessional; and Mara Landrum, paraprofessional one-on-one aide.

Changes in assignment were granted to Teri Sue Reed, from Title 1 paraprofessional to K-6 opportunity room paraprofessional; and Lori Nordine, from SPED paraprofessional to SLP assistant.
