Grand Coulee

6/6 - A Grand Coulee man is being investigated for allegedly passing a fake $50 bill at a local business firm. The man has been banned from the firm.

6/8 - An officer checked on a report that a man with a rifle was seen on Martin Road. Police found a man with pellet gun and advised the man not to shoot across the road, He said he wouldn’t.

6/9 - A man advised police that he feared his daughter wasn’t going to school. An officer found her at the Visitor Center and she told police she was walking to school.

Police were repeatedly called to a camper at King’s Court for a disturbance and finally issued a citation to a woman for breaching the peace.

A local firm reported that a man tried to pass a counterfeit bill and he said he had received it from the bank. He was trying to purchase a prepaid card. He later returned with valid bills to complete the transaction.


A woman reported that two of her cats had been poisoned and told police who she thought did it.

6/10 - A Grand Coulee man was arrested for fourth degree domestic violence assault and taken to Grant County jail.

- A Camas Street resident in Coulee Dam was stalled after his vehicle hit the curb or an object flattening both tires on the passenger side. He asked for a tow to Les Schwab.

6/11 - An Almira woman reported that someone had cut the locks off four units in her storage shed on “A”Street.

- A man on Roosevelt Drive reported that someone had taken one of his Seahawk flags while he was parked at Jack’s Four Corner Station. He said the flag cost $11.

- Farmer’s Insurance and State Farm officials reported that someone had attempted to enter their offices. Police are investigating.

6/12 - A new employee had pressed the panic button while learning the alarm system at Banks Lake Pub.

6/13 - A woman on Kelso Avenue in Electric City told police that a woman kept driving past her house and she felt that she was being harassed. Police explained that it was a public street, but asked that she write out a report.

6/14 - Police were called to a residence on Bowen street where a number of juveniles were involved in a loud party involving alcohol. A Child Protective Services worker was also at the party and, according to the report, had been drinking also. Police are advising the CPS supervisor. When police arrived several juveniles fled from the back door. Two were cited. Police are still investigating.

- Police were called to an East Grand Coulee boulevard residence where an altercation had occurred during the exchange of children between a couple that were formerly together. Police could not determine if a crime had been committed.

6/15 - A Moses Lake driver, who had been cited previously for driving while his license was suspended, had his vehicle impounded.
