Tribal officials are putting together some of the final plans for their July 4-13 powwow activities scheduled for the celebration grounds at the Colville Indian Agency.

The celebration will include the traditional horse parade, family fun day, traditional dinner, bingo nights and the powwow.

Currently, the committee managing the 10-day celebration continues to raise money to help defray the cost of putting on the event.

This event has been held on the Colville Reservation for over 100 years, promoters noted.
