Felix and Elizabeth "Liz" Marcolin celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a 10-day trip to Germany in December with their daughters Kathy and Kerin, Kerin's husband Steffen, and their three children. Much of their visit centered around the home of Steffen's parents, Horst and Anneliese Ludwig, in Saint Julian, Rheinland-Pfalz. Open-air Christmas markets, cathedrals, and castles were highlights of the trip. Future anniversary plans include a celebration with their entire family in July at the North Head Lighthouse Keepers' Residences at Cape Disappointment State Park in Southwest Washington near Ilwaco.

Felix and Liz were married at Coulee Dam Community Church on January 18, 1964, and have, in addition to daughters Kerin and Kathy, sons Andy and his wife Haseena of Richland and Chris and his wife Vanessa of Oroville. They are blessed with 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
