7/2 - An Electric City man reported his truck stolen. He had returned from fishing to his Kelso Avenue home at about 10 p.m. on July 1 and left his truck in his garage that night, and also left the keys in the garage. Items that were in the truck were found nearby, down the street from the residence, including a pair of binoculars and a weed eater, as well as bolt cutters, which didn’t belong to the victim. There are no suspects or clues as to which direction the stolen vehicle headed.

- A group of campers at Sunbanks Lake Resort was reported to be arguing. The campers admitted to an officer that they were being loud but said that there was no heated argument. Resort security warned the campers about the noise.

- A grandmother asked an officer to check on the welfare of a child living temporarily with an aunt. The officer visited the aunt and found the child sleeping and in good health and observed nothing in the residence that would cause concern for the child’s well being.

7/3 - A Hill Avenue woman’s tire was punctured by what appeared to have been a knife. She told an officer who she thought may have done it.

- “Nasty Town” was spray painted on the walls of a storage shed on Third Avenue in Grand Coulee.

- An officer checked on a fireworks complaint on Washington Place in Electric City. The officer didn’t find any fireworks.

7/4 - An Electric City man was cited for driving with expired tabs and without any insurance.

- An Electric City volunteer firefighter requested police assistance when an Osborne Bay area camper became angry when told not to have a campfire. The fire was out by the time the officer arrived, who told the campers not to light another one.

- A Grand Coulee woman sustained an eighth-inch puncture wound from a dog bite while walking on Spokane Boulevard. The dog’s owner was issued a citation for a potentially dangerous animal.

- A driver from Keller was cited for having no valid operator’s license without ID after being pulled over near the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam for not having a rear license plate. A temporary tag wasn’t visible through the car’s tinted rear window. The passenger, who had a driver license, took over driving.

- A Safeway shopper returned to the car to find a small dent and crease consistent with another car door opening into it. The car was parked outside of the surveillance area and there are no suspects.

- An officer assisted with a diabetic problem at the Eagles Lodge. The patient was stabilized and examined, but refused any additional assistance.

- A driver, pulled over on Midway Avenue in Grand Coulee for having expired tabs, was issued a citation for driving without insurance.

- An officer was unable to find a reported naked man standing on a boat described as white with blue flames, who was yelling at Sunbanks Lake Resort campers at about 7:30 a.m.

- An officer told people in the area of Strate Funeral Home about the fireworks ordinance.

- A mid-sized, black, stray dog was scratching at someone’s door on Partello Parkway, but wandered off while an officer spoke with the reporting party.

7/5 - A driver, stopped near Martin Road in Grand Coulee, was cited for driving with a suspended license and for driving with a child under age 13 in the front seat.

7/6 - A driver stopped for driving with a suspended license on Granger Avenue was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant and taken to Grant County Jail. The passenger was allowed to drive the vehicle so it wouldn’t be towed.

7/7 - A woman on Burdin Boulevard in Grand Coulee complained that “a black guy” had walked across her lawn. She told him not to walk on her lawn, and he left the area.

7/8 - An Electric City couple arguing over personal matters found a way to stay at separate residences.

- An officer checking on the welfare of a child on WIlliams Avenue in Electric City found the child in good health.

7/2 - An officer arrested a man wanted on a warrant in the Harvest Foods parking lot without incident. The officer met on Disautel Pass with an Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office deputy who took the man the rest of the way to Okanogan County Jail.

7/3 - Officers assisted tribal police in responding to a Tulip Street report that a man and woman were stealing a resident’s television set. The officers told tribal police that suspects had left the scene in a black Toyota.

7/5 - A Camas Street man reported that a neighborhood teenager was firing off a BB gun, with shots hitting his garage. An officer knocked on the neighbor’s door, where a woman said no one was shooting a gun. The officer told her that firing a weapon is illegal in town.

7/6 - A driver with Oregon plates collided his vehicle with a rock wall on Birch Street. The man said he had been distracted by his dog in the back seat when he struck the wall. The man was also driving with a suspended license, for which he was issued a citation.

7/8 - A woman wanted on a warrant was observed heading from the Coulee Dam Casino down Holly Street, where she was arrested and taken to Bagdad Road, where she was transferred to a Lincoln County deputy who finished the process of taking her to Davenport Corrections.

- An officer helped secure loose dogs at their rightful Camas Street residence.
