Louise J. Rowan passed away peacefully at age 88 on Friday, May 25, 2018, in Spokane Washington. Louise had recently moved from Grand Coulee, Washington, to Lena's Gentle Care in Spokane.
She was born Louise J. Olsen on October 2, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois. She married William R. Rowan in 1948 in Woodinville, Washington. They had two children, Thomas H. Rowan and Michael R. Rowan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thorvald and Thelma Olsen, and both her siblings, William and Elaine.
She is survived by her two sons: Thomas and Michael; grandchildren: Ben Rowan, Miles Rowan, and Kristin Dobervich; and great-grandchild, Philip Dobervich.
A celebration of life gathering for friends and family will be held on Saturday, August 4, in Grand Coulee at the home of Michael and Sally Rowan.
